 **Emergency Preparedness***

“Preparation spares panic.”

Should an emergency or disaster situation ever arise in our area while school is in session, we want you to be aware that our school and our school district have prepared, and continue to update, plans to meet such situations.

Your cooperation is essential to support your child who may be at school when such an emergency occurs.

Here are the requirements:

  1. Make sure the white emergency card on file for your child at Valmonte Early Learning Academy is current.
  2. Provide your child with his/her : “Survival Kit” that will be kept in the classroom with the white Emergency Card. This kit should help sustain your child before he/she can be picked up safely from school. See Emergency Kits above for complete details.

*Your child MUST have his emergency kit, disaster release, and white emergency card completed in order to be able to attend  VELA, on his first day of school.
