The Valmonte campus includes VELA our community fee-based preschool, which was created in 2006. PVPUSD preschool special education programs have been offered to a wide range of young learners since 1996 at the Valmonte campus.

There are three special education classrooms and one inclusion teacher at the Valmonte campus which serves and supports our public preschool program serving students with ages 3-5 with special needs as well as partner students who serve as our communication and socialization models and leaders. There are four certified Early Childhood Specialists.

VELA is our licensed community preschool. VELA is licensed for 285 children between ages 2-5. This is a fee based program for students ages 2-5. Our fees, brochures and enrollment options are available on this website under the VELA section. There are nine licensed Preschool Educators who are supported by highly qualified Associate Preschool Educators who meet state licensing requirements.
